I just had my car repoed, because they don’t refinance, so I couldn’t keep paying the high payment, if they could have worked with me then this would not have happened, I had a financial change, so I had no choice but to let it go back. The payment was 744.16, I tried to get them to lower it to 450.00
when we bought the car we could afford it, I was an instructor and my husband worked at a chemical plant, my class was closed down, the company does not refinance and they are one of those high interest companies

you’ll be able to get a car, but you’ll end up paying outrageous interest rates on it.

  • Tony R:

yes you can because once your bankruptcy is over you can’t file again for 7 years

  • fluke:

sure, you just pay more interest.

  • John M:

What were you doing financing a car for $744.16 a month when you can’t afford to pay that much? Why didn’t you finance a car for $250 or $300 per month? That still gets an ok car.

It’s possible dude, but it won’t be easy. Getting a repo on your car DECIMATES your credit. There are banks that will work with you, but don’t expect rates below 10%.

  • TIMOTHY H:

Probably not, you may have to go to a "tote the note" car lot.

  • Jadia Ayla:

Yes, you could, but it’s going to be very hard. Try going thru a local credit union first. They are usually better at helping people with problem credit.

  • tchem75:

Probably not immediately. Or if you can it will be at HIGH interest rate.

744/month for a vehicle? What were you driving? A Bentley?

  • skip742:

No, nobody will finance you. Your only hope is to go through some shysters that will probably take away more of your money.

  • Adam D:

having such a recent repo is going to be a huge black mark on your credit report if you try to get a new auto loan, banks are probably going to think that you wont be able to make payments to them, they may require a nice down payment
