I am not 100% certain, but I can provide a little knowledge. They are both expenses to your business over a period of time as long as you finance it. If you purchase it outright, you might only be able to write it off one year, depending on your accounting system. Leasing for a business can be great. You won’t have to worry about major engine repairs, just normal maintenance. They also often better lease deals then purchase deals at a dealership due to the possibility of repeat business in a shorter amount of time.

The top 5 are still leasing cars. Not know where you heard differently.
GM, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan and Toyota. They not advertise as much, but still offer leasing options.
