if the school allows additional funding, then you probably can. Usually the additional funding is reserved for school supplies or ‘living expenses’, but you can probably ask. Also, you have a limit to the amount of federal loans you can borrow during a 30 week period, unless its a federal Plus loan. So, if the whole loan amount is needed to cover your tuition, you might not have the option of requesting some of it for yourself.
