I am curious as to how a refi is reported to the credit bureaus.
I have a credit card judgment on my credit report filed 2001. Do the same rules apply for judgement as debt reporting on the credit report therefore it should be removed 7 years from the date filed. BTW- I haven’t paid this judgment. Also have heard mixed things in terms of who to contact to have judgment removed. Should I first go to the credit bureaus for them to verify or should I go to the law collection agency?
Thanks
I paid off a credit card a couple weeks ago and i’m currently watching my credit scores from all 3 credit bureaus…and all 3 are showing this particular card as still having a balance. So since it’s only been 2 wks since i’ve paid the balance in full, am i just not allowing enough time for them to report the 0 balance?
My husband and I paid off our debts that reflected on our credit reports. We have recieved all of our paid in full letters except for one. What would we need to do to get this information to credit bureaus to have our information updated…I reall need to know so any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
I recently got a Household Bank credit card in order to help build up my credit score. I have only used the card for small purchases and have paid off the balances for 2 months (the amount of time I’ve had the card) but no payments have shown up on my credit report as of yet. I was under the impression that Household Bank reported to the credit bureaus every month. Does anyone know when the payments might show up?
