Where can I purchase Credit Cards with preset 0 dollars on them without having to create bank accounts etc. I know that certain stores like CVS sell cheaper ones like 0, but to do my purchases I need to have one Credit Card.

Alternatively, does anyone know where I can buy new computer parts at low prices (as in not insanely high) wand be able to pay with multiple Credit Cards. (I use New Egg, but I need multiple Credit Cards, so hence my question).

I’m going to start college soon, and I’m being told by many people that I should get a credit card and "establish my credit" by making payments on things on time. People have tried to scare me by telling me that if I don’t buy a new car or a credit card via a store in the mall, I won’t be able to purchase a house in the future, because I "won’t have established good credit" and "won’t be able to get a loan". My initial reaction is that they’re lying to me in order to sell me credit cards, but is there something to their arguments? Is it possible to get home loans without a history of good, or any credit? What’s the best option in a case like this?
Why would I need a credit card if I don’t plan on having credit in the future? I don’t need credit, and I feel we’ve been brainwashed into thinking it’s necessary.

Are there home loans that are given based on proof of income or something other than credit history?

It really seems as though people assume credit has to be a part of their lives; I’m not sure that’s true.

When I got my auto, I had good credit, interest rates were low-6.9% Now my credit isnt good, I relied on credit cards to help me out & I am going to get approved for auto loan, but the int. rate is 17.9%. How long after improving my credit will it take to get a good score again? Could I refinance my auto loan in 3 months if I pay down on cards (I’m owed quite a bit of money for being a subcontractor–just not sure "when" it’s going to be paid). If everyone paid what they owe me today, I’d be ,000.00 better off, and I’d have my credit cards at zero balance. However, I do need a reliable vehicle to get to and from work, and this new one would ensure no worries (w/ optional extended warranty) If I keep driving the vehicle I have now & any unexpected repairs are needed, I may be putting money into it along with monthly payments. I plan on paying off new one in 14 months. But the interest on that would be ,000. Pay off ,000 loan in 1 year, or go w/ new loan/safety of auto??

My question is, i have 2 credit cards and i have significant income right now, but my credit is not the greatest. I am still building it right now. If i mailed in copys of my pay stubs, what are the chances they will raise my limits according to my pay stubs?

I have few of my credit cards with lower balance have been sent to 3rd party collection agency. Since, I am back to work and like to pay these debts. How can I handle this and how will appear on my credit report once the balance is paid off.
