Did you know they are illegal in many states. In Georgia, I called the attorney general’s office – who is working hard on stricter laws to go after these companies even when they are based out of California – and she sent a letter (on Attorney General Letter head) asking them to Cease and Desist.
She sent me a copy and they never bothered me again
Check with your attorney general’s office. or google your state’s websites about it – that’s how I knew my state was working on legislation against these predators.
