Very though. You must contact the issuer and ask them to update the credit bureaus explaining that this wasn’t card issue to you. Or you can contact the specific credit bureau and open a dispute. You should check all three credit bureaus to ensure it’s not on all of them, otherwise you have to go through the same process three times.
